1.       Introduction & Objectives

The Rumah Hijau  (TRH) is being generated based on few objectives:

-To refresh and enhance the culture of cleanliness of being Islanders of Tioman Island

-To educate local and non-local on how to manage their wastage wisely

-To educate people the importance of saving the environment and the impact on their local life

-To educate people about the power of recycle

1.1 Why The Rumah HIjau.

The Rumah HIjau is the best way of helping the community and the environment in order to achieve the best method of disposing all the waste materials especially glass bottle. It is established and sponsored by Tioman Cabana initially and collaborate together with Sime Darby, Reefcheck Malaysia and other NGOs which is located is at Tioman Cabana, Tioman Island, Malaysia. 

 The idea appeared to be practical when TRH received a bunch of supports and positive comments. The operational system of the program as well being effective gradually in order to make sure the message being delivered. It reaches variety of people starting from young ages to senior citizens. Even though TRH is still at a very young age but the vision will carry out the big mission and soon it will be the pioneer to help more people to be 1^st class minded people.

2.       Mission and Vision

The mission of TRH is to lead the intelligence of disposing wastage material and to bring awareness to people all over the world and followed by the vision is to be the most successful Centre of recycling materials that can benefits to most of the society in various ways.

  

3.       Operational

3.1 Team

Team Project will be divided into specific specialist in order to make sure the operational flow runs smoothly. The Specialist are:

Designer

( involving in designing everything related to art and graphic for any purposes)

Marketing & Marketing strategy

(Marketing will promote and establish the good communication with everybody and organization and the strategy will be implemented based on the specific occasion)

Administration

(Admin will lead and manage all the admin activities and the project welfare)

Product manager

(This person will make sure the quality of the end product and come out with the innovation and creative product that can beneficial both party

Sales/ Business development

(Involving sales and generate income to sustain all the operation and come out with ideas to have a solid income)

4.       Volunteering ( the whole system and program)

The volunteering program is an education program to deliver, share messages, and train the unofficial ambassador for us to be able to spread the knowledges and mission we bring. This volunteer activities will enable all the participant to learn a lot of new things whereas they come from various background which we can also share some knowledge from them and result in building ‘win – win ‘ situation.

4.1 How does this volunteering activities implemented?

The summary is as follows:

1.       Once the booking is open, all the interested volunteer will have to email us and show their interest and will send their resume or any related document.

2.       All the volunteer will be undergoing screening process and will be selected based on the requirement of TRH.

3.       Once the volunteer has been shortlisted they will be interview and the best candidate will be selected.

4.       The selected volunteer will  be given specific forms to be filled up as our record and references.

5.       All the details of the dates and personal info will be record and we will booked as in our schedule.

6.       On the day of arrival, the selected volunteer will be given the orientation, tour of the places and briefing on the volunteering activities and all related terms and conditions.

7.       All the volunteers are understood to be under the TRH terms and condition.

8.       The volunteering program will cover their accommodation, meals and welfare.

5.       Program (non profit) community

TRH basically will also conducting programs for local and community in order to make sure our objectives achieved. This program will involve local village, school, and other type of community which will be leading to a better nation. This showing our contribution and passion on creating a better lifestyle of all types of generation. The investment we hope worth for our nation and efforts.

6.       Revenue (profit) profitable

As to sustain all the programs and operation, good revenue will keep it going and to be implemented continuously. There are various ways to generate revenue and income which is by promoting the activities, and selling products. The activities will require skill and experience which can be also implemented in the future. To have that skill we will require some contribution fees where it goes directly into TRH organization. There will be tons of beneficial activities which will still remain on our objectives tracks. All the activities will going to have end products where the product will generate the stable income and also it will spread through amongst people.

7.       Sponsorship

Other than generating income by our products and program, we will also open for any interested organization or individuals to give some donation, sponsorship or contribution in any ways the prefer. Why? Current situation will need us to be more productive which mean we need more sources to ensure everything will flows accordingly and with more fund, we can plan more beneficial projects in bigger scale. So that our objectives will constantly on the tracks and it will give opportunities to contributor, donator and any sources to participate and show their passion in making life better with better practice of embracing the power of recycle and education.
